I know there has to be some people out there who care about the political issues. Any one watch the debate tonight? I did. After watching it I have concluded that politicians should get Oscar nominations. Especially Palin. Do we really have to appear unsophisticated and unintelligent to be common? Who the hell is Joe six-pack? Is that a statement referring to all of us "common folk" as beer drinking slugs? "Gosh Darn it", I do believe that the "Andy Griffith Show" was a work of fiction. I don't think Joe six-pack watched it much. I'm tired of her patronization of the working class. She's a poser trying to present herself as common. "You Betcha"!

Ahhh Yes! Just what I've been waiting for. Palin talks in circles. She tries to use a bunch of big words to sound intelligent but really makes no sense at all. When I watch her speak more than 2 or 3 minutes I start to feel sorry for her. And what they are saying about her as being one of the regular people. I don't want a regular person in the White House. We've had a Joe Six Pack President for the last 8 years and look where that's gotten us.

I felt the debate was rather mundane at times myself, both candidates as with the presidential debate of recent days tip toed around the questions and stayed the course of what they wanted to talk about not what the moderator was really wanting to get from them which is detailed plans once in office and agendas and steps to insure us americans they're party is the choice. Now also, read this from a person on another board and it's pretty much how i also feel about anyone blaming everything from gas prices to the sun burning out in 5 billion years on BUSH. ******* I agree, but it also goes much deeper than that. Does anyone remember a little treaty signed by Bill Clinton called NAFTA. At the time I worked for a supplier of plastic molded auto parts, they supplied to the big three automakers. The NAFTA treaty suspended all taxes on goods shipped between canada, the US, and mexico. because of this many of the producers of goods in the united states were able to send jobs to mexico where labor is much cheaper. For example, the company I worked for had the plant I worked at make the parts, but they sent them to Mexico to be assembled and then shipped them to Ford or GM. they even opened up a 2 plants in Chihuahua, Mexico and sent some of their jobs there. It is no wonder jobs have now been outsourced to India and China and every other 3rd world country in the world. Even though Clinton turned over a surplus in the budget, he set in motion a chain of events causing a loss of American Jobs and a backsliding economy even before Bush first took office. If people want to blame Bush for everything under the sun, that is their choice, but I say they should research where the bad economy came from before they go regurgitating the misleading info spouted by the liberal media and the democratic party. Blame somebody or a party enough times people start to believe it. ****** current.com/items/89382341_democratic_congress

NAFTA has some, but not all to do with the economy going down the chitter. It's mainly because of bad loans, foreclosures, high gas prices and so on.
Whoever is elected, at least it's not Bush.
