Don't eat at Lake Brazos Steakhouse, ever unless you want terrible service, bad food.
I went a few weeks ago with a group of about 15 people mostly family and friends of the band that was playing. It was on a Saturday but wasn't really all that crowded. We all sat outside in the covered patio area near the stage and seated ourselves. I was there 20 minutes at my table with 3 other friends before a waitress even walked anywhere near our table, and I had to flag her down to tell her we wanted to order some drinks and dinner.
She finally took our drink order and we waited, and waited, and waited for maybe another 15 minutes and no drinks? I flagged her down again and asked where our drinks were and she said oh, yeah, I'll be right back. 5 minutes later she finally came with our drinks, set them down and walked off. By this time we were more than ready to order dinner but she didn't ask!
She kept walking by our table, not even looking in our direction so we flagged her down again, told her we wanted to order and had been waiting a very long time. She took our dinner order and after another 25 F'ckin' minutes she brought our food. One of my friends didn't get what he ordered! He was pissed but took the food anyways so he wouldn't have to wait another eternity for what he really ordered. I ordered a cheeseburger which I couldn't even eat because they overtoasted the buns, almost burnt and they were hard as a ROCK. I gave it back and said how do you expect me to eat this?? 10 minutes later, I get a new burger, buns not toasted this time thank God but there was only one tiny tomato and one pickle slice, and hardly no cheese. I was fuming by this time but ate it anyways. The fries were good.
The band's family were all there and sitting behind us, they had the same trouble out of their waitress and at least 3 of them got the wrong order brought to them. The manager came out and tried to straighten out the mess because the wait staff had no clue who ordered what.
After dinner, while the band was playing, we had to get up and flag down waitress in order to get beer and drinks. They never came to us and asked if we needed anything all night. I'll never eat there ever again. I don't know if thats typical of how things are there everynight but if so I don't see how they stay in business???
