Hello,
We have started a Internet radio station playing Central Texas bands. That’s all we play. Come have a visit and give us a shout. We’ll get your stuff up and played.
Hopefully, the sponsors of this forum, 102.5 The Bear, won’t see this post as a conflict of interests… I don’t think we are competition for them featuring only local bands, only online.
Anyway, we just started up, so come check it out. Its purely a freebee done for art’s sake. Art better appreciate it, he can be such a jerk sometimes. The only adds would be for your band, and TSTC of course. We can post band info, upcoming gigs on the calendar, and your music added to the rotation. Being on a state owned server, we could only take radio appropriate songs (nothing that will get me fired when the administration decides to take a listen).
We have a lot planned and in the works, but come check it out and become one of the first in the ranks. We’ve got a few already, such as Common Ground and Cradle, but it would be much better with your music playing as well. Help us get started, and help your music get in front of more people. What have you got to lose?
The site is cmt.tstc.edu/radio
We plan on doing all we can to support local music. We got tons of bandwidth, lots of computers, and a love of music. What more could you want? Oh, we don’t have dancing girls. Or booze. At least not online anyway. Or on campus during working hours.
So, go take a look/listen. You can contact me through that website, or email me at shannon.white@tstc.edu.
Thanks for your time
