I ate at Cheddar's for the first time today... loved the atmosphere. They have an outside patio with a rock waterfall in the corner... very peaceful. Made me think of Mexico, lol. Anyway, I thought it would be an awesome place to have an outside music show.
and for the record, our waiter was awesome, very attentive (even with a packed house and waiting list). The fried shrimp was good, but the chicken fried steak sucked... gravy tasted like sausage drippings. (yuck, don't like sausage grease)
But the atmosphere.... go for the atmosphere!

yes the chicke fried steak is horrible there. Maybe they finally fired the bad help. Perhaps I may dine at the establishment again

Cheddars......best damn Monte Cristo on the planet (even tops bennigans), and they are one of only 2 resturaunts I have ever seen that carries my brand of brew (Sierra Nevada Pale Ale). They are a little stingy when it comes to the hard stuff however, I order a Tripple Jack and I get like a shot and a half. All in all I can't complain though.

Cheddar's has quite possibly the most overrated food I've ever had the displeasure of eating.
They don't season well.
